My high-school English teacher told me I was a very creative writer, but a lousy listener (I got that from most of my teachers). On my first job as a designer, my art director read my palm and pronounced “You should be a truck driver, not an artist.” Most of my clients would tell you, listening is my best skill. My wife would dispute this.
