In expanding her education she attended Willsey Institute in 2001 for Nursing, Phlebotomy, EKG certification and has completed HIV/AIDS 500/501 certification training. She is a HIV/AIDS Advocate and Author, member of Hispanic Achievers, the CAAID-Corporate Achiever Awards for Individuals with Disabilities, a board member of James House and has involved herself in environmental issues. She is also a representative to the Seminole County community, a sponsor to the Children's Miracle Network, International Fellowship of Christian and Jews, volunteer for the Coalition for the Homeless on Central Florida.
