Smith is a freelance science writer and instructor in Tokyo, Japan. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, he was a science reporter and photographer for The Beacon newspaper in Research Triangle Park before moving to Canada and opening his first company. Since arriving in Tokyo, he has earned JLPT certification in Japanese and established Polyglot Studios, KK. His cats are Onion and Beebee. Recent News About Me: My Hobbies: A North Carolina transplant to Vancouver, Canada at the age of 6, have traveled hither and fro in search of novelty, adventure and amusement.
