Family of Christian Writers Publish Inspiring Books

God has blessed Pamela and Anthony Norwood to both release books for Christian inspiration and education this year! Pamela Norwood is Anthony’s mother and released her book, Sweet Inspirations for the Soul, in February, 2008. It is a great, little book that was written under a time of great grief and stress during Pamela’s life not many years after the unexpected death of her husband, Allan T. Norwood, in 2003. Anthony Norwood has aspired to write Christian books for a long time in his life and God has blessed this dream to become a reality with the release of the book, Bible Understanding Made Easy, Volume 1: The Old Testament, in July, 2008. This wonderful book is for the student of the Bible that wants to know the truth of God’s Word from Genesis to Malachi! The style of the book is very easy for all to understand, but challenging enough for the Bible scholar to ponder!

It is a great, little book that was written under a time of great grief and stress during Pamela’s life not many years after the unexpected death of her husband, Allan T. Norwood, in 2003. It is not easy becoming a widow at the tender age of 47 indeed. Only Pamela can tell the story of how the book came to be. She tells us that she would get up in the middle of the night and poems would come to her. She said that these poems would be written in tears! This book will help all Christians triumph ove r sorrow, hopelessness, and mourning. That triumph comes through the tender compassion of God causing peace in one’s soul as the sincere Christian looks to God for that help and compassion in time of need! Pamela’s book was therapy for her own soul and hopefully, will be the same for all that God blesses to receive it as well! Anthony is formerly the assistant minister to the Metro Central Church of Christ in Detroit, Michigan, and is currently the minister at the Moore Avenue church of Christ in Anniston, Alabama. He left his own successful insurance business and moved to the other end of the country to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ full-time in Alabama. He also believes in teaching and preaching the Word of God in a very transparent manner. That is, he is not afraid to show the world of his own personal failures in life with all types of sin so that he can use the Word of God plainly to show that all that seek Christ can overcome the addictions of life that they may be harboring at the time! Anthony has bee! n teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 1999. Anthony’s wife, Jocelyn, plans on writing a book of her own regarding the topic of Christian marriage if the Lord Wills!
