By Eliz Joyner

We are all so busy getting "ready" for the season that sometimes we forget to show our partners how important they are to us. Here are some tips to help us show love this lovely holiday season.

Love Renewed Ideas for the Holidays

10 Ways to Say "I Love You" this Holiday Season

1. Buy or make an ornament with you and your loved one's name on it. You can make an ornament using glitter, glue and a solid-colored glass ball ornament.

2. When you make sugar cookies, us a heart-shaped cookie cutter, too. Use red sprinkles or icing to spell your loved one's name on the cookie.

3. Send a Poinsettia to your loved one's office with a sweet note.

4. Find a photo of your first Christmas or Hanukah together and copy it on a color copier. Use it to make a gift tag for your special gift to him or her.

5. Cut out an old-fashioned snowflake and attach it to your loved one's bathroom mirror with a special note.

6. Do a chore for your loved one without being asked. (ie. help with Christmas cards or wrapping gifts.)

7. Plan a special evening at home with hot chocolate, popcorn and your favorite holiday movie. Calendar it a head of time. Send a special date night invitation to your loved one for that evening.

8. Read holiday poems, stories or books together. "The Christmas Box" is a lovely holiday story with a golden, timeless message.

9. Fix your loved one a cup of hot cider and rub his or her hands and or feet with a softening creme.

10. For 5 mornings in a row, say "I Love You" in a different language. (See daily romantic messages on the Love Renewed site (www.loverenewed.net) to get you started.
