So begins a character study filled with terrifying details, feints, and mystery. The end is a hold your breath ending... Excellent story, excellent plotting.

Will be interested in further works from Ms. Evans. The only thing I wish this book had was looser dialogue among the characters, especially fiance and father. If that is the worst criticism, I'd say Ms. Evans has a bright future.
