Congregations throughout the greater Cleveland area have many programs to reach out and win souls for Christ. Sunday school drives, vacation bible schools, ladies prayer groups and youth services are just a few that focus their efforts at adding to the kingdom of God. Although many of these programs are typical venues to reach the community, Dawn M. Kurtz is using her gift as a writer to spread the gospel through mystery and romance.
Her book is changing lives.
"Secret of the Mexican Doll" by Dawn M. Kurtz is a novel that is being used as a soul winning tool. The reader experiences a heart-warming tale of forgiveness and Godly love while declaring the gospel. Author, Dawn M. Kurtz, is passionate about winning souls to Christ. Though this book has been read and enjoyed by both men and women (including pastors and their wives) it is gaining momentum in Spanish ministries, jail/prison ministries, and those that focus on young women. "The cover seems to attract young ladies" Kurtz points out with surprise and excitement. She is also pleased with the response she is getting from young women currently in juvenile detention. God is using this tool to reach these young people that many in society have written off as undesirable community members.
Many well respect leaders in Pentecostal organizations have endorsed her book, "Secret of the Mexican Doll." National Church Growth Director of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, Rev. Church leaders in the United Pentecostal Church Inc. have also found favor with Kurtz's novel. Just recently, Dawn M. Kurtz has gotten to see the fruits of her labor as many friends and family have gotten baptized in Jesus name and filled with His Holy Spirit at the Apostolic Church of Barberton. This is where Dawn and her husband, Robert, currently attend.
When asked about her inspiration to write this book she replied, "It's a novel way to reach people."
