Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Scifi/Action/Horror - 100 words at a time!

01/18/10
By Jake Bible

New podcast novelist, Jake Bible, writes the world’s first drabble novel.

After the zombie apocalypse decimates the world, human civilization tries to put itself back together again. Their secret weapon: the Mechs. Massive robotic battle machines. But what happens when a mech pilot dies in his mech and becomes a zombie? Hell on earth is unleashed...

Writer and podcast novelist, Jake Bible, re-invents the zombie novel and the way novels are written. By setting his novel, Dead Mech, generations after the zombie apocalypse has destroyed most of the Earth’s population, he has dropped his readers and listeners into a dystopian future of madness, betrayal, violence, cannibalism and suspense. Keeping a breakneck pace by writing the entire novel in drabble form (increments of exactly 100 words), Mr. Bible has accomplished something no one else has tried in literature to date: making long form fiction out of a micro-flash fiction style.

Part of the new generation of storytellers, Mr. Bible is serializing his novel as a free podcast for the world to hear. Comprising half a chapter, each episode is released approximately every two weeks and available for free subscription through various podcast feed directories such as Podcast Alley and iTunes.
