New Book Offers a Simple Road to Sainthood
06/17/09By Jo Leonard
At an early age, Jo Leonard wanted to become a saint. Not for the glory, but for the up-close and personal relationship with God that she thought sainthood would bring her. Many decades, paths, and spiritual awakenings later, she discovered that saints are not singled out for sainthood, not marked by the Divine with a pre-determined destiny. Sainthood is available to anyone and everyone who chooses to wake up to that which already lies within them. The Would Be Saint Leonard’s passion in life is to share the knowledge she has gathered after a lifetime of searching for God. She has traveled the world presenting consciousness-provoking talks and workshops to other like-minded seekers. A published author, her writings, both non-fiction and fiction alike, are spiritually insightful, inspiring, and often laced with warm humor. She currently lives in Occoquan, Virginia (near Washington DC) with her husband and two Siamese cats. Author homepage http://www.jeleonard.com
