Iran Nuclear Terror Coalition Conspiracy against the United States

A nuclear consultant, Mike Haggler, visits an old friend, Armando Delacour in Mexico, who tells him about secret dealings between Iran and the Zapatistas. He explains that nuclear terror threat will continue until sanctions against Iran are lifted and Mexico grants independence to Chiapas.

Armando, a wealthy landowner and businessman, has Zapatista family roots and they regard him as a supporter of the conspiracy. However, he knows that Zapatista socialist programs are bad for business and wants to expose their plot. Armando does not trust corrupt Mexican officials and wants Mike to inform US authorities. But, he warns him that if they are found out, both they and their families will be in mortal danger.

Obama foreign policy underscores human rights which encourages unrest among oppressed minorities. But Washington follows an appeasement approach and together with some allies, tries to talk Iran into giving up nuclear weapons development.

Mike Haggler wants to alert Homeland Security about the looming threat in Mexico. He reaches senator Benton of Florida, who has a Mexican mistress, and who advises him to forget the whole thing or lose his security clearance. State Department intelligence considers any leaks from Chiapas as planned disinformation, and they think Armando is also a terrorist.

General Amir Qureshi, of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, is in charge of an organization, which manages the nuclear terror project in Mexico. He engages the services of Boris Zhurkin, a Russian Mafia operator, to assist with nuclear materials and know-how. Zhurkin contacts Polish and Czech radical groups, who are outraged by Obama cancellation of missile defenses. They agree to provide nuclear experts for the Chiapas operation in return for access to nuclear weapons.

Washington is looking for a diplomatic solution with Iran and does not want to create an international incident that could derail such plans. Haggler is warned by FBI that his information jeopardizes US foreign policy and he should terminate contacts with Armando or else….

An Israeli Mossad spy discovers that Zhurin deals with Mexican converts to Islam from Chiapas who visit the Middle East for terrorist training. He infiltrates Zapatista leadership in San Cristobal but is betrayed by CIA and eliminated by snipers of Zapatista hit squads.

At a secret meeting of the terrorists in France, General Qureshi outlines nuclear terror targets in USA. These include McDill AFB in Tampa Bay, satellite launch sites in Florida and California and other bases essential for retaliation by the United States against a nuclear attack. Armando conveys this information to Haggler, who informs his nuclear business and political contacts.

Once again he is told that this is not his business. His consulting contract with government agencies is terminated. When he and his better half receive death threats Haggler goes public and is finally interviewed by Coast to Coast Am Radio program.

When sanctions against Iran continue, the Zapatistas smuggle two suitcase nuclear weapons into United States and announce that demonstration explosions will take place. The media ignore the Zapatista threat to prevent panic but a nuclear explosion is triggered off in a cave in New Mexico. This initiates the secret Continuation of Government evacuation program in Washington. Introduction of martial law follows when a second nuclear explosion takes place in Nevada near the secret Area 51.

Mike Haggler is now in demand as someone who has the inside track about the conspiracy. He goes public with his story when he is interviewed by People’s Record. They also tell him that they have been monitoring Senator Benton’s affair with the Mexican lover but have been muzzled by the White House in the past.

Popular outrage forces the government to lift all sanctions against Iran to stop further nuclear terror events. The Zapatista insurgency moves closer to independence when USA pressures Mexico into granting Chiapas full autonomy in return for giving up the nuclear weapons under United Nations supervision. Nevertheless newly elected senators demand impeachment of the president and the whole cabinet.

No sooner does this take place, when a representative of ETA Basque insurgents in Spain, gets in touch with Haggler. He informs him that a nuclear terror blackmail program will be implemented unless Unites States supports Basque demands for independence from France and Spain. But that’s another novel in the Haggler series.
