Can an adopted child escape death in a psych hospital?
05/12/09By Elizabeth Mulholland
Elizabeth, adopted at 3 months, was given fabulous education, luxury trips and personal access to Katharine Hepburn and Eleanor Roosevelt. Her family had two lovely homes and millions in the bank. Her adored father died when she was 22 and she was left to deal with her increasingly alcoholic and rigid controlling mother. Her mother made a deal with a local psych hospital to keep her hospitalized for life in return for $2 million dollars. Drugged and shocked with ECT, Elizabeth manages to escape the hospital, find documentation of the scheme the hospital used to try to kill her to collect her mother's money and builds a life of her own. Despite severe kidney disease due to the psychiatric abuse, Elizabeth finds her natural family and a true love of her own. Her website and blog can be found at www.survivinghighsociety.com.
