Free AuthorScribe.com Website to help sell your books and earn ad revenue!

Are you looking for an absolutely free website that can help sell your book and in addition, make you extra money with the AuthorScribe.com Revenue Sharing program.

Why is having an AuthorScribe website advantageous for you in your book marketing effort?

  • Website Traffic: AuthorScribe is powered by and linked to and from BiblioScribe.com. many new members join each day and submit articles and press releases daily thus providing a lot of search engine traffic for both sites. With thousands of members, BiblioScribe.com has a growing traffic trend that helps the growth of AuthorScribe.com.

  • Revenue Sharing: Where you receive all profits from the sale of you book as you would on any site, AuthorScribe.com offers a Google Adsense revenue sharing program allowing you to easily place two ads of sizes you select in your content using the AuthorScribe Dashboard. Authorscribe places only one ad in the sidebar of the website, giving you two to one ratio for pay per click advertising revenue.

  • Design it the Way You Want: AuthorScribe.com websites will allow you to chose from a large list of headers, or you can simply design and upload your own header picture, or choose to have none. Select your backgrounds, headers, widgets, and even create your own pages as well as article posts to make your site as unique as possible. Of course you want to add links to your book wherever they are sold online in articles and pages you create.

  • Analytics: Your AuthorScribe.com website has built-in analytics to allow you to see what your visitors are reading, and where they are located, allowing you to find trends in the articles you publish on your site.

  • You Retain Rights to Your Articles: It is your work. You own it.  AuthorScribe.com, BiblioScribe.com, and their parent company Poor Richard Web Press, LLC makes no claim of ownership over your work.

  • We Follow Backlinks: Any links you put into your articles, including those to your own personal website count as a backlink to the search engines, thus providing a greater search engine ranking to the sites to which you link.

  • Writers Forum: AuthorScribe.com contains a forum area that allows you to ask questions, make suggestions, and learn from other authors.

  • Exclusive Membership: While BiblioScribe gets many membership requests, only authors and publishers are accepted. The only way to get an AuthorScribe.com website is to be a BiblioScribe member (also at no cost to you.) That ensures spammers are kept out, and allows for a serious growth of an author community at AuthorScribe.com.

  • A Friendly Staff: BiblioScribe.com and AuthorScribe.com was founded by James Ward, the Author of Wealth Virtues. James Ward understands how hard it is to publish and market your book, so he created BiblioScribe.com and AuthorScribe.com as a way to make it easier for other authors to reach new markets and publicize their work.

Free Author Blogs and Free Domain Name with $6.95/month Web Hosting

Not ready to put a lot of money into a website? You can still get the convenience of your own web presence under your own domain name to publish your own work without anyone else's ads -- just those for your own book!

Blogs are great tools for allowing you to publish your own articles with pictures and video.  Most good blog software will also "ping" news servers, alerting them to changes in your blog and making updates to those websites who subscribe to blog feeds.

What are the benefits to having your own Blog under your own domain name?

The first is the freedom to publish to a site that you fully control. You control all the content, your ads (if you elect to have them), and of course, the information about and associated links to your books.

"I already use a blog on Google or the Book Marketing Network - Why do I need another?"

Keep using the other sites, but along with the benefits stated above, you can use these community blogs to drive traffic to your own blog site under your own domain name.

"You use the term Free Blog, but then I see the charge of $6.95 a month - why?"

What costs $6.95/month (actually $166.80 total cost on a two year contract) is the web hosting.  When you want to expand beyond just having a blog, you can use your existing hosting and domain name to add a traditional website while keeping the existing blog.

If you do not yet have a domain name, enter your desired domain name in the New Clients box, and select Next. Signing up for a 12 month or 24 month  plan allows you a free domain name.  Two years is the best value, only costing you $166.80 ($84.40 a year equivalent) for hosting, domain name, domain name privacy, and lots of tools to include (of course) your own Blog.

If you already have a domain name, put the domain name you own in the Transfer Clients box, then select Next. You will be able to transfer the domain yourself, or either host provider will help you do it.

After you are all signed up, you will receive your password for your control panel to your hosting account. As a reminder, a HostMonster or BlueHost representative will call to verify your account. This is a good thing as it helps eliminate fraud, and assure you that you are dealing with a great hosting company.

Using your Control Panel account and password (your account will be your domain name,) sign in to set up your Blog.

Once you are into your control panel, you will see lots of great promotional options. As you scroll down your panel, the first thing you should do is  establish your own email account under your domain. This is located under the fourth panel labeled Mail.  Select the Email Accounts icon to set up your  email.  Email is available to download to Outlook and to view online.

Next, scroll down to the 10th panel named Software / Services.  Once there, select the smiling logo called WordPress. WordPress started as just a blogging system, but has evolved to be used as full content management system through the thousands of free plug-ins, widgets, and themes now available. With all of the free templates and plugins that you can install through the WordPress dashboard, you can have a site unique to your tastes and book themes.

Following these steps, you can have your own domain name, hosting, and Blog up and running in less than 15 minutes. Post your own articles in any  number of categories that you create. Post permanent links to your books, and even use your blog to make additional income by posting your own  affiliate ads.

Sign up for a BiblioScribe.com account to start creating links to your new website.  BiblioScribe.com also encourages you to become a member of John  Kremer's Book Marketing Network at http://bookmarket.ning.com.
